Salem Family Resources Announces Leadership Transition

On December 31, 2024, David Voegele will be stepping down from his position as Executive Director of Salem Family Resources, Salem, New Hampshire. He has been with Salem Family Resources for 2.5 years. He replaced Cindy Jury, the founder of Salem Family Resources. We appreciate David’s service and dedication to the organization over his tenure.

During David’s time here, he had some significant accomplishments:

  • Hired new fiscal director
  • Prepared strategic plan, by law revisions
  • Obtained paid benefits for staff
  • Acquired new building at 155 Main Street, Salem
  • Developed new Family Support Program and Play Space Program
  • Expanded number of families served by 200%
  • Launched Birdie Blast
  • Launched the Youth Mental Health First Aid Program

The Board and staff of Salem Family Resources would like to thank David Voegele for his outstanding commitment to the organization and never-ending focus on assisting families in need.

On January 2nd Melissa LaRocque will be replacing David as Executive Director. Melissa was the Director of Operations and Quality Improvement Specialist and Program Director at the Dover Children’s Home in Dover, New Hampshire. She has worked for 3 years in NH State’s Child Welfare System and has 10+ years as Program Director and Residential Group Homes. Melissa is a First Aid/CPR Certified Trainer and a TBRI practitioner. Melissa lives in Auburn, New Hampshire with her husband and two children. Her youngest child will be attending the Early Learning Program at TLC.

David will continue remotely as a contracted grant writer/consultant to Melissa.
